Why do the USA formulations have a maximum of SPF 50? Compared to AU formulas which have SPF 50+)?Updated a month ago

We’re thrilled to let you know that all of our US SKINSCREENS have actually achieved results of SPF60 and higher using ISO and FDA testing methods. Unlike Australia and other parts of the world, the US does not have an SPF rating of SPF 50+. This means we were left with the option of labelling our products as either SPF 50 or SPF 60.  

Given the strong emphasis on sun safety in Australia, where there are high rates of skin cancer, we are very educated on the dangers of sun exposure. However, in other parts of the world, sun education is not as ingrained in society, so we made the call to list our SKINSCREENS at SPF 50.
